The new division will offer a comprehensive service to project owners or contractors engaged in all types of construction projects around the world, ranging from power and process plants to building and civil engineering projects.  As well as programmes tailored to specific projects, the team will also look to handle annual placements across the breadth of their contractor clients’ business.

Mark will share day-to-day responsibility for the running of all aspects of the Construction Division, with a particular focus on business in the United Kingdom and Europe. This follows many years spent leading projects procured under the Private Finance Initiative / Public Private Partnerships and handling the annual accounts of European-domiciled contractors.
 
Darren Marshall joined R K Harrison in December 2006, having begun his insurance broking career in the construction arena in 1994. Darren’s expertise spans the entire construction arena, from house building projects and contractors’ annual covers through to multi-billion dollar energy projects.
